A message from Mr. George...
- I would like to congratulate the 2020 class, which includes my son, on a job well done. Unfortunately, life is not always timely with things like pandemics and other losses. It is our job to adjust and make do and you have done that with unmatched grace and a positive spirit. Life has a way of balancing the bad with the good, so I would be on the lookout for great things in the future. I commend you and I celebrate you!
- To my students... I would first like to recognize your strength and perseverance. This semester’s adjustment to education was a learning process for all involved including myself. So, thank you for being patient with me. Many of you showed your true spirit by staying steadfast and fighting for your grades, refusing to accept mediocrity. Others of you completely surprised me as you were a better virtual student than you were when in class. I commend all of you for being your best and handling your business. Unfortunately, our shortened semester prevented us from completing some of our favorite activities... no Roller Coaster Project, SMH!! However, our relationship will not be tainted by the virus. You will have questions and need advice as many of you enter your senior year. Rest assured, I’ve got your back. I will always be here for you with a listening ear to help guide you to the answers you need, so please don't be a stranger. Enjoy your summer and be ready to adjust to the new way of schooling that we will undoubtedly have to endure. Finally, I would like to conclude by saying what I always say to my students each year. If you only learned Physics in my class, then you didn’t learn. Life is precious, so endure and keep living it regardless of the struggles. It has been my pleasure to be your teacher this semester.
